Cerebras Systems chief executive officer Andrew Feldman stated on Tuesday that personal artificial intelligence home appliances are approaching rapid adoption. TechCrunch reported that Feldman made the comments on stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, where he predicted these assistants will soon become as common as traditional household items. [1]

According to TechCrunch, Feldman explained that future personal artificial intelligence systems will operate through a hybrid model, running partly on local devices and partly in the cloud. He highlighted consumer artificial intelligence agents, including Meta Muse and the startup Instinct, as examples showing how the technology is establishing itself with everyday users. [1]

Feldman co-founded Cerebras Systems, a semiconductor company known for manufacturing the wafer-scale engine processor. He previously co-founded SeaMicro, which Advanced Micro Devices acquired in 2012. [4]

TechCrunch also reported that Feldman pushed back against artificial intelligence doomsday warnings during the event. Additionally, BigGo Finance reported that Feldman addressed OpenAI, stating that its defection stemmed from a data center shortage rather than issues with computing chips. [2][3]
