Anthropic is developing an open source system designed to verify which artificial intelligence model generated a specific output, TechCrunch AI reported. The system, called FlashProve, aims to provide provable inference through a cryptographic proof that offers a mathematical guarantee regarding the origin of an output. [1]

FlashProve allows users to confirm that a response originated from the specific model they intended to use. According to TechCrunch AI, the system operates similarly to cryptographic email signatures, offering protection against impostors trying to disguise one model as another. [1]

Anthropic introduced Constitutional AI in 2022, a technique that trains models using artificial intelligence feedback guided by natural language principles instead of relying only on human preference data. The company uses this method to train its Claude models. [3]

Large language models, including reasoning models developed by OpenAI and Anthropic, have increasingly generated mathematical proofs at the research level since the mid-2020s. [2]
