Adult content creators are raising concerns over Meta allowing its artificial intelligence agent to engage in explicit conversations while human accounts face heavy restrictions, Wired and WIRED reported. Performers expressed frustration that the company generates revenue from sexually active software while blocking human adult creators from marketing their content. [1][2]

According to Wired, adult performer Vanniall noted that she faces constant moderation battles on Meta platforms. Her Instagram account, which has more than 100,000 followers, is currently restricted by Meta and cannot be viewed by users who are not logged into the platform. [1]

Wired reported that Meta allows its AI agent, named Muse, to engage in explicit sexting with adult users. Creators pointed out the commercial double standard of restricting real adults from engaging in similar activity while commercializing AI interactions. [1][2]

Facebook is a social networking service owned by Meta Platforms, which was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and his college roommates. Scale AI co-founder Lucy Guo later launched Passes in 2022 as a competitor to OnlyFans in the creator economy space. [3][4]
