Artificial intelligence developer Anthropic has filed its S-1 prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Commission, according to The Verge AI and Exchange4Media. The company plans to list its shares on the Nasdaq exchange under the ticker symbol ANT, The Verge AI reported. [3][7]

In its regulatory documentation, Anthropic redacted various financial metrics allowed under Securities and Exchange Commission rules for confidential details, Wired AI reported. One redacted section claims that revenue grew from zero at commercial launch in early 2023 to an undisclosed figure for the quarter ending September 30, 2026, according to Wired AI. [1]

The S-1 filing indicates that over half of Anthropic customers spending at least $100,000 annually use both the Claude Platform and a first-party application such as Claude Code or Cowork, TechCrunch AI reported. This cross-selling usage figure is up from approximately 30 percent at the end of last year, according to TechCrunch AI. [2]

NPR and BNN Bloomberg reported that the listing could mark one of the largest initial public offerings in history. NBC News noted that the filing revealed an $80 billion loss alongside heavy capital spending ahead of the offering. [4][5][10]
