Nanbeige LLM Lab released Nanbeige4.3-33B, a 33-billion parameter dense open source model, MarkTechPost reported on October 25, 2026. Startup Fortune, OrcaRouter, and Pasquale Pillitteri also reported on the release of the agentic coding model, which competes with models such as Qwen3.8-27B and Gemma. [1][2][3][4]

According to MarkTechPost, the new model features a context window of 512K tokens and is released under an Apache 2.0 licence. Nanbeige LLM Lab reported a score of 80.9 on the Terminal-Bench 2.1 benchmark for the model. [1]

The release builds on standard context frameworks used across the industry. The Model Context Protocol was introduced by Anthropic in November 2024 to standardize how large language models share data with external tools and data sources. Anthropic donated the protocol to the Agentic AI Foundation under the Linux Foundation in December 2025. [5]

MarkTechPost reported that the Nanbeige4.3-33B model will be used to teach an upcoming smaller model named Nanbeige4.3-3B. [1]
