OpenAI and Oracle Corporation have expanded their partnership to bring enterprise software applications and artificial intelligence agents directly into ChatGPT, according to statements from both companies. SiliconANGLE, Quartz, and CNBC reported that Oracle will also offer Google LLC's TPU accelerators through its public cloud infrastructure. [1][2][5][6][8]

The cloud computing expansion marks the first time Google is supplying its TPU hardware to a competing hyperscaler, SiliconANGLE reported. SiliconANGLE and CNBC added that Oracle plans to incorporate several additional hardware options, including wafer-scale accelerators from Cerebras Systems Inc. and the Jalapeño inference processor from OpenAI Group PBC. [2][5]

The agreement includes plans to embed ChatGPT and OpenAI's Codex into Oracle's business software suite, according to reports from CNBC, Techzine Global, Quartz, and TradingView. The integrations aim to establish ChatGPT as a central interface for executing enterprise application tasks. [5][7][8][9]

OpenAI develops generative artificial intelligence models, including its generative pre-trained transformer series. Its ChatGPT platform reached more than 1.2 billion weekly active users by September 2026. The announcement follows enterprise deployments of OpenAI technology, such as Uber expanding its deployment of ChatGPT Work to over 30,000 employees, as FTMQ SI reported earlier. [10][12][13]
