UK launches 100 million pound AI Biosecurity Lab with leading developers

The United Kingdom government has launched a 100 million pound AI Biosecurity Lab to strengthen defenses against biological threats and accelerate disease detection and medical research, Brave New Coin and WION reported. OpenAI and Anthropic have committed up to 200 million pounds combined in AI model credits, computing resources, and access to advanced systems, Brave New Coin, TOKENPOST, Tech Times, and WION reported.
